LRR 214:

Screaming into the Void

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before - Canada’s Men’s XV are facing some familiar rivals, and because there hasn’t been any real investment in the squad since 2015, they lose, highlighting the ever growing gulf between them, and said rivals.

We may as well have replayed any episode from 2021 onwards.

So, the Pacific Nations Cup has returned, and Canada had the unenviable task of facing now-Tier 1 Japan, and old rivals USA. All seems familiar, as they lost both games, and so the alds end up feeling the apathy that many Canada fans have for the men’s XV at present.

And in Paralympic news, Canada’s Wheelchair rugby team face off on the largest stage.
