Good news, everyone - Derek is back!

He & Stu go over the opening round of WXV 1, as the triple header at BC Place kicked off with England predicatbly getting the win over USA, before the real headliner - Canada vs France!

Both teams were pretty even in the first half, with Canada getting a decent lead, despite excellent individual play from the French players. However, indiscipline for Les Bleus cost them in the second half, as Canada stretched their lead, concluding the match with a 46-24 win.

Finally, it was New Zealand vs WXV 1 newcomers, Ireland, which was won by…Ireland?!? Wait, what?
