Canada’s Senior Men’s XV conclude their tour of Romania, losing 35-27, as missed tackles and inability to capitalize, closing out the year with 1 win over 7 matches. Talk about a year to forget…

Over in Ottawa for the Canadian University Men’s Rugby Championship, we got shocks on all sides as both UVic and UBC were unable to reach the Final, ensuring that the Spence McTavish Cup would not return to BC for the first time! In the Gold Medal match, ETS Piranhas held off Queen’s Gaels, lifting the trophy in their inaugural tournament. Next year, they will be both defending champions, and hosts, as CUMRC 2025 will head to Montreal.
